Family Pictures

Okay, so this is the first of three posts I should have done in November. (Sorry! Catching up! One day I will be an experienced blogger who posts every week.)

The first week of November we took some family photos. One of our good friends here, Kendra Larsen, is an experienced photographer, and in mid-November was nine months pregnant! She wanted to get a few last family pictures while she was still pregnant, and she'd heard that I knew how to use a nice camera, so she dressed her family up, and we dressed our family up, and together, we went out to the beach to get some fun shots! We traded being photographers for each other and had a lot of fun. We love how the pictures turned out. Here are some of my favorites:

Ezra Update

It's been a while since I've posted so I am doing two posts in one day! There are just so many cute pictures you need to see. Ezra is getting cuter and cuter every day. I love being his mom. He is so sweet, so content, so soft and cuddly. He is fun. I just stop and think sometimes before I fall asleep about how much I love my life and how lucky I am to have the sweetest baby and husband and my wonderful little life. We are truly blessed.

Today he rolled over for the first time! I was so proud of him. I was reading on the couch with him on the floor next to me, when I realized that he was on his side. I couldn't believe it! I grabbed my phone to take a picture to text Tanner at school, and his eyes were closed in it, so I took another, and another, and with each picture he rolled just a little more. I grabbed my nicer camera to take a better picture at that point, and by the time I was able to get just one picture, my little guy was on his stomach! We were so happy about it. He loved the attention he got after that. (Don't worry--he's not attention-starved--I was just really excited.)

We are getting excited to see his Smith grandparents over Thanksgiving break--they will be coming to Miami, and then we will drive up to Deland together. Tanner will bless him in church that Sunday too which we are also very excited about.

Here are some pictures from the past two weeks:

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun! It's different as a mom. It's weird growing up and joining the ranks of all the other mothers with their cute little dressed up children! But it is so fun to have a little guy to dress up. He is my best little pal.

Ezra was a biker. A really nice, cute, little biker. Here we are getting his beard ready.

He thought the eyeliner pencil was something he should probably examine with his mouth. It made it especially hard to draw the beard because he kept moving his little face to eat it wherever I was drawing.

Here we are getting ready to give out candy. I was a gypsy, Tanner was a protester, and Baby Boy, as you know, was a little biker (with Halloween socks).

He tried to keep in character the whole time with his thug face.

Here he is trying his best to pose for his photoshoot.

He had a lot of fun playing with his pants and making long drool strings.

There was a bit when he wasn't having as much fun.

But he recovered.

He was just a little hungry!

And that's our Halloween!
